CUSAT Admission 2026: CUSAT admission will start soon for the academic session 2026. Students can apply now to any UG and PG programs. Application fee for the general category is INR 1500/- and reserved category(Kerala SC/ST students) is INR 700/-. About CUSAT 

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) was constituted in 1971 as the University of Cochin. In 1986, it was reconstituted as Cochin University of Science and Technology(CUSAT).CUSAT is located in Kochi, Kerala.  It is accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade and is considered a premier of science and technology in the country. All the programs provided by the university have been approved by the University Grant Commission and AICTE. It is supported and funded by government bodies such as UGC, DBT, DSR, and MHRD. CUSAT UG Admission 2026 

CUSAT admission to UG programs will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students can apply now by filling the application form online. Postgraduate programs offered at CUSAT include B.Tech with 16 specializations, BBA LLB(honors), BCOM LLB(H), B.SC LLB(H)(computer science), and B.Voc in business process and data analytics. The duration of all PG programs are 4 years with 8 semesters. Total intake of each course is as per the capacity of the program, ranging between 10 to 143. 

To be eligible for admission to UG courses, students need to pass a higher secondary examination conducted by the Education Board of the Government of Kerala. Or another examination equivalent with a minimum 50% mark in relevant subjects. Students will be required to pass the CAT(Common Admission Test) examination conducted by the university. 

CUSAT PG Admission 2026 

CUSAT admission for the 2026 academic session will start soon for PG programs. Students can opt for programs such as MA in Applied Economics and Hindi language & literature, M.Sc. with 21 specifications, master of Computer Application (MCA), LLM, M.Voc program in 2 specifications, MBA, and M.Tech program with 19 specializations. Minimum course length is 2 years and 4 semesters. 

To get admission to the PG program at CUSAT, students need to have a bachelor degree in respective discipline with minimum 50% or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university. 

For MBA admission, selection is based on scores obtained in KMAT conducted by CEE, CMAT-AICTE, IIM-CAT. SMS DAT for MBA executive and GATE scores for M.Tech program. Selected applicants will be called for personal interview and group discussion. 

CUSAT Diploma And Certificate Course Admission 2026 

The CUSAT admission process will start soon for the 2026 academic session. Students can register for the desired diploma and certificate courses. Applicants need not apply for admission online. PG diploma in communicative English, translation, journalism, and computing, academic writing, intellectual property rights, and an integrated diploma in Japanese. All diploma courses are offered for a duration of 1 year. To be eligible for admission, students need to have a bachelor’s degree from a CUSAT-recognized university. Admission will be a merit and an entrance test conducted by the department. 

Certificate courses in French, German, communicative Hindi, basic litigation & art of advocacy in India. Advanced certificate course in medical law, clinical research, and bioethics. Certificate courses are for a duration of 3 to 6 months.  To qualify, students need to have a pre-degree/plus two/3 year diploma or equivalent/bachelor’s degree recognized by CUSAT.

• Step 1: Visit Cochin University of Science and Technology’s official page and click on APPLY HERE. 
• Step 2: Create your username and password, add your phone number and valid email address. 
• Step 3: Click on the registration button and start filling up all the personal details. 
• Step 4: Upload recent passport-size photo (100kb-500kb in jpg & JPEG format) and scanned signature in the same format in 10kb to 100kb. 
• Step 5: Select your program, select the qualification, and click on the CONFIRM PROGRAM button. After which test codes will appear, select the appropriate one and click on the CONFIRM TEST button. 
• Step 6: Now a short preview will appear for applicants to check all the details.
• Step 7: Next payment of the application via UPI, net banking, credit card or debit card is necessary. 
• Step 8: After the payment, applicants will need to select THE TEST CENTRE available. 
• Step 9: After this go to the homepage to complete the application process. 
• Step 10: After confirmation amil is received, keep a printout of the form for references.

Fee Refund And Fee Concession For CUSAT Admission

All programs of CUSAT are approved for fee concession for all SC/ST applicants and other communities. Kerala SC/ST applicants need to pay only a caution deposit at the time of admission. 50% concession in tuition fee is granted to differently abled students. Fees will be refunded as per university order and refund without interest will be done in the next financial year only.
