TNDALU admission process will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students are invited to apply for LLM, LLB and integrated law degree programs. Applicants have to register through online mode for admission. University application fee for general category is INR 1000/- and for SC/ST applicants is INR 500/-. Students will have to send Seperate application form to SEOL and affiliated law colleges in Tamil nadu. Selection will be purely through merit basis. About University
TNDALU is a short form of Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University. It was founded in the year 1997 by the government of tamil nadu. It is accredited by NAAC and is recognized by the University Grant Commission. TNDALU is a member of association of indian university(AIU), and Indian Institute of Public Administration. Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University is the first and unique affiliating type of university. It is a public state university, with two campuses namely , Poompozhil campus and Taramani campus. Many of the law universities in Tamil Nadu are affiliated with TNDALU. The university has signed a memorandum of understanding with various international institutions and universities.

TNDALU Admission To Integrated Law Courses
TNDALU admission process for integrated Law courses will start soon for the academic year 2026. Interested students are welcome to apply for online admission to integrated courses offered by the university. TNDALU offers 5-year integrated courses such as B.A.LL.B. (Hons), B.Com.LL.B. (Hons), BBA.LL.B. (Hons) and BCA.LL.B. (Hons). All these courses are offered in Sthe chool of Excellence in Law (SEOL), established by TNDALU. Total intake of students for integrated degree courses will be 156, inclusive of NRI.
To be eligible for admission, students need to pass Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or have completed a 3 Year Diploma /Polytechnic from recognized educational institutions. Applicants must have secured a minimum 70% mark (60% for reserved category). Selection will be based on marks obtained in qualifying examination and the Communal and Special reservation. There is no age limit for admission. Annual course fee of the integrated degree is INR 87,635/-.
TNDALU LLB Admission 2026
TNDALU admission for LLB program will begin soon for the academic session 2026. Eligible applicants can apply to the LLB program in Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University through an online mode. To be eligible for admission to LLB/LLB(H) program, students will need to have an undergraduate degree program in any discipline and those with 10+2+3 can also apply. Selection of applicants will be entirely based on merit marks in the qualifying examination. Total 1 year program fee is INR 87,135/-.
LL.B.(Hons) program is offered in school of excellence in law(SEOL) with an Application fee of INR 500 for SC/ST and INR 1000/- for general category. The minimum required mark for LLB (H) degree course is 60%(55% for SC/ST). LLB degree programs are available in affiliated law colleges in Tamil Nadu with application fee for general is INR 500 and for SC/ST is INR 250/-. Students will have to score a minimum 45% mark (40% SC/ST) for admission.
TNDALU LLM Admission 2026
TNDALU admission registration process for the LLM program has not started yet for the session 2026. Students can apply to the LLM degree program offered in 13 specializations. LLM is offered under Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). It is a 2-year course with 4 semesters. Intake of students for the LLM program in each branch is limited to 20 students.
To be eligible for admission, students need to pass a B.L/LLB program of 5 to 3 years with a minimum 45% mark from any BCI recognized institution. Selection of the students will be based on merit marks of qualifying examination. Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University charges LLM degree program first year program fee around INR 38,200/-.

- Step 2: APPLICATION FILLING: fill up personal information, educational qualification, address, and others.
- Step 3: Click on SUBMIT.
- Step 4: Preview your application form for any errors, and CLICK ON SAVE AND PROCEED.
- Step 5: Upload scan copies of documents mentioned, including with scanned signature and photograph.
- Step 6: Now click on submit and proceed for fee payment.
- Step 7: Pay application fee via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and UPI.

TNDALU Scholarships, Fee Concession, And Fellowships
University provides various scholarships to the students such as Government of Tamil Nadu SC/ST Scholarship,Post-metric Scholarship, Government of India Prime Minister Merit Scholarship,Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Merit Scholarship,Scholarship for the Wards of the Farmers,Government of Tamil Nadu BC/MBC Scholarship. University offers Waiving of Fee for SC/ST, Differently Abled and First Graduates from a Family. Students are exempted from paying tuition fees, and have to pay a special fee at the time of admission only. TNDALU provides Higher Education Loan to the SC/ST Students provided by the Government of India. It also has a Moovalur Ramamirtham Ammaiyar Higher Education Assurance Scheme.
