Panjab University admission process will start soon for the academic year 2026. Students are invited to apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and certificate programs. The admission process will be held in online mode. Minimum application fee payable by students is INR 300 and maximum fee is INR 600. Admission of the students will be based on qualifying examination, national entrance examination scores and Panjab University Common Entrance Test (PUCET). Panjab University UG Admission 2026

Panjab University admission for the undergraduate program has not started yet for the academic year 2026. Students are invited to apply for their desired UG program and specializations. University offers undergraduate programs like B.C.A, B.B.A, B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.F.A, B.Ed, B.E, B.P.Ed., Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), Bachelor of Pharmacy, BLibSc.  All PG courses are available for a duration of 4 years and 8 semesters. To avail admission for UG program, students need to pass a 10+2 examination with at least 50% mark from the respective board. Selection of the student will be based on PU CET (UG). For BHMCT, a valid score of PUTHAT is required.

Panjab University PG Admission 2026

Panjab University admission will begin soon for the postgraduate program for the academic year 2026. Students can apply for admission to PG Programs offered by the university. Which include LL.M. , MCA, ME(12), MAJMC, MA, MHMCT, MPHARM, Master of Commerce, MBA, MPED, M.Sc. in 24 specializations, M.TECH, MPHIL in 16 specializations. All postgraduate degree programmes are applicable for the duration of 2 years and four semesters. To be eligible for admission to the PG program, students need to secure a 45% mark in a Postgraduate degree course or 50% in aggregate. Students have to appear for the PU CET PG examination. 

Panjab University PG Diploma Admission 2026

Panjab University admission process will start soon for the PG diploma program for the session 2026. PG diploma is offered for the duration of 1 year. University offers 10 PG diplomas in regular mode. Which include, PG diploma in Advertising and Public Relations, Disaster Management and Security, Buddhist Studies, Homeland Security, Journalism and Mass Communication, Radio Production, Woman Studies, etc. to be eligible for admission to PG diploma courses, students need to have a bachelor degree in relevant field or equivalent. PG diploma courses range between INR 33610 -INR 64,500.

Panjab University Admission Entrance Examination

Panjab University conducts various entrance examinations for different courses. Students have to register themselves before the last date. University will conduct entrance tests in the months of April, May, June, July and September(the months may vary as the latest Entrance Test schedule is not yet released). The entrance tests which will be conducted are PUTHAT  for Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology and Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management. UGLAW for Integrated LLB courses, CETUG for B.Pharma and B.Sc courses. Also,  PULEET and PUMEET for B.E, CETPG for LL.M., M.C.A., M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, B.P.Ed. and M.P.Ed. PGLAW for LLB, PGLAWMIGRATION for LL.B Migration and Ph.D for PU/Ph.D of various courses.
