New alipore college was established by the government of west Bengal in 1963. It was started as a government sponsored college, affiliated to the University of Calcutta. New Alipore College has been re-accredited by NAAC with an A grade and is certified by the ISO. Its green campus is located in New Alipore, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The university includes a department of commerce, humanities and science.
