KUK DDE Admission will start soon for the academic session 2026 to various UG and PG courses. All students will be required to fulfil the eligibility criteria. For UG courses, students must be 10+2 passed and for PG courses, students must hold a Bachelor’s degree. Admissions are based on Merit of last qualifying examination. There is a mandatory application fee of INR 500 that has to be paid at the time of application submission. Programmes offered at KUK are approved by UGC DEB. Those who are interested and eligible can apply through the official website.

KUK offers these programmes in ODL mode through Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Average fees range between INR 20,000 to INR 50,000 depending on the course and its level.

About Kurukshetra University

Kurukshetra University is a Public University that is located in Kurukshetra was established in 1957. Its foundation stone was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad, first President of India. University has emerged as an advanced centre for Study and Research for quality education. It is approved from UGC and has NAAC ‘A++’ Accreditation, which is the highest accreditations among Haryana Universities. It offers a wide range of programmes through both regular and distance learning.

KUK DDE Admissions 2026 For UG Program

KUK DDE admission will begin soon for UG Programmes for the academic session 2026 for distance education. Students can apply for admission in ODL UG Programmes through the University’s official website of the Directorate of Distance Education (DDE). Courses offered under the Distance UG Programmes are B. A (General), B.Com, B.Sc. BCA. B.LIB. & INF. SC, B.Ed, etc. UG programmes are of a minimum 3 years duration, following a semester structure (6 semesters).

Study of material and Question paper is provided in English medium though students sometimes get the choice to write answer in both languages, Hindi and English. Admissions are merit-based and students need to submit an application form only if they fulfil the eligibility criteria. There is also an application fee that must be paid, and is non-refundable.

KUK DDE Admissions 2026 For PG Program

KUK DDE admission will start soon for PG Programmes for the academic session 2026 for distance education.  It is required to fulfill eligibility criteria as mentioned in the University’s admission guidelines. Those who are eligible and want to apply for ODL PG Programmes can apply through the University’s official website of DDE. Courses offered under Distance PG Programmes are M. A (General and with specialisations), MCA, MBA, M.Sc, M.Com, MA MC, M.LIB. & INF. SC., etc.

The minimum duration of PG Programmes are 2 years, consisting of 4 semesters. Maximum duration given to complete course is 4 years. Medium of Instruction (Study material and question paper) is English, though students have the option to write in both hindi and english medium for some courses. Admissions are based on merits and interested students can apply by filling an application form available at official website. They also have to pay necessary application fee which is non-refundable.

KUK DDE Admission Eligibility Criteria 2026

It is important to meet eligibility requirements as failing in it will eventually make your application form invalid. Those who will not fulfil the eligibility criteria will not go further in the admission procedure.

  • Eligibility Criteria for UG Programmes: Students are required to be 10+2 passed from any recognized University/Board of education with required subjects. 
  • Eligibility Criteria for PG Programmes: Students are required to have a bachelor’s degree in required course/discipline from Kurukshetra University or any other recognized University board. Minimum passing marks must be 50% or an aggregate.

KUK DDE Study Material and LMS

Kurukshetra University will provide the study material to students in supplement to prescribed/recommended books. Available study materials will be provided to students in installments. There is no need to visit campus to collect study materials. University will dispatch it to student’s given address. It is not necessary that every topic of syllabi will be covered in the study material though University will try to cover up everything. No student can use it as an excuse for adjustment/refund of fees or postponement of the examination. 

Students will get a Personal Contact Programme (PCP) of one week to 24 days depending on the programme. It will include Online/offline regular classroom teaching, practicals and face to face discussions. It is required to complete minimum PCP attendance (75% for B.Ed students and 50% for other programmes). Detailed schedule of PCP for each and every class will be available at CDOE website.
