Jamia Millia Islamia University was established in the year 1989. It has been declared a deemed university by the University Grants Commission. The 94-acre campus is situated in South Delhi, India. Jamia Hamdard University UG Admission 2026

Jamia Hamdard University admission for the undergraduate program will start soon for the academic year 2026. Currently, it is offering undergraduate programs like Bachelor of Pharmacy, BPT, B.SC with 12 specializations, B.Tech in 4 specializations, BAJMC, BBA, B.COM. including Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), BCA, Bachelor of Optometry, Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (BOT) and Bachelor of Arts with 2 specializations. All programs will be offered for the duration of 4 years and 8 semesters. 

To be eligible for admission, students need to pass the 12th standard with a 50% mark or equivalent CGPA from CBSE board or any other recognized board. Admission will be based on merit in the qualifying examination. Selection of the program will be based on NEET for B.Pharm, JEE main for B.Tech, CUET PG and entrance test conducted by the university. 

Jamia Hamdard University PG Admission 2026

Jamia Hamdard University admission process for the postgraduate program will start soon for the academic session 2026. Students can apply to desired PG programs offered for the duration of 2 years and 4 semesters. It includes M.Tech in 5 specializations, M.SC in 20 specializations, M.Pharm in 8 specializations, MCA, MBA, LLM, Master of Physiotherapy in 4 specializations and MA in 4 specializations. 

To be eligible for admission to the PG program, applicants must have a bachelor degree with 50% in any relevant discipline from a recognized university. Admission will be based on the qualifying examination and CUET PG. Selection for the MBA program will be through MAT/CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GPAT/XAT/ATMA, GD and PI. students with a valid GPAT score for the M.pharm and CLAT for LLM program will be given preference. 

Jamia Hamdard University Diploma And Certificate Course Admission 

Jamia Hamdard University admission to certificate and diploma courses will begin soon for the session 2026. The university offers a Certificate Course in Forensic Toxicology (in hybrid mode), with a total of 30 seats. These courses are offered for 6 months and 1 semester. To be eligible for admission, students need to have a bachelor’s degree with relevant subjects with 50% marks and 45% for the reserved category. Selection will be on merit marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

Reservation Policy Of Jamia Hamdard University 2026 

The university offers 50% total seats to muslim applicants, and 50% for open merit. Students who have passed out from Jamia Hamdard will be provided with 10% weightage in marks and 5% to national/state-level sports persons in entrance examination, interview, qualifying examination. Also 5% is given to Persons with Disability (PWD) applicants, and seats are reserved for Jamia Hamdard Alumni. University also provides 4% weightage for general and 5% to SC/ST applicants in the interview, entrance test and qualifying examination for admission to CEO of Jamia Hamdard. 

Fee Concession, Scholarship, And Fellowship At Jamia Hamdard University

Students have to check the eligibility criteria to avail any scholarships. The university also provided various scholarships on the abis of schools. 

1. University offers Students’ Aid Fund (SAF),to applicants whose parent annual income is less than 4.5 lakhs.
