Jadavpur University Admission 2026: Jadavpur University admission will start soon for the academic session 2026. Students are invited to fill up application forms for postgraduate, undergraduate and doctoral programs offered across various disciplines. There is no application fee. However, students have to pay an admission test fee of INR 400 for general category and INR 200 for reserved category. Admission of the students will be through merit, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Test, and counselling. Students are advised to submit the duly filled application form before the last date. Jadavpur University UG Admission 2026

Jadavpur University admission for all undergraduate programs will start soon for the academic session 2026. Students can apply online for UG Program offers such as the Bachelor of Arts in 10 specializations, B.ED. including Bachelor of Library and Information Science, B.PED, B.ARCH, B.E, and Bachelor of Pharmacy. UG programs are applicable for the duration of 4 years and 8 semesters. Admission will be through entrance tests conducted by the university, CUET, merit and department-specific requirements. 

Students who have passed their 10+2 examination with a minimum 50% in any stream from recognized educational boards are eligible for admission at Jadavpur University. Selection of the students for the architecture course will be through NATA scores, and for B.Tech will be through the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). 

Jadavpur University PG Admission 2026

Jadavpur University admission will start soon for a postgraduate degree program for the academic session 2026. The programs available are Master of arts, M.Tech, M.E, Master of Science (M.SC), MASTER OF PHARMACY. All these programs are offered for a duration of 2 years and 4 semesters. To be eligible for admission, students need to complete their bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from any recognized university. Applicants belonging to the general category must have scored 55%- 60% marks and 45% for reserved category. Admission will be through entrance test and merit basis. Selection for the M.Tech program will be through GATE qualifying score.

In addition to the tuition fee, students are required to pay INR 360 as admission and associated fees.

• Step 5: You will get a UNIQUE NUMBER- LOGIN ID. 
• Step 6: Select the department and click on the APPLY button. 
• Step 7: There is no application fee. However, students have to pay an admission test fee. 
• Step 8: After submitting the form, students can download the acknowledgement slips.

Financial Assistance Provided By Jadavpur University 

Students can avail following financial assistance offered by the university. The university provided a fee concession to the needy and meritorious students. Minimum 10% of the students get full freeship. Students whose annual performance is good are given Endowment Scholarships and/or Book Grants. Students can raise their own Students Aid Fund which is supported by matching grants from the University. Jadavpur University also provides internal stipends, means-cum-merit basis, with a total 80 stipends available for students.
