The Graphic Era University admission process will start soon for the academic session 2026. Graphics Era University offers various undergraduate and postgraduate, and doctoral courses to its students. Admission in the UG courses except BTech courses are based on merit, whereas BTech courses are offered through the JEE score or merit in the qualifying examination. For admission in the MTech course, students are accepted through gate score or score from the qualifying examination. Admission in the MBA  course is offered through scores in CAT and other qualifying examinations. The enrollment fee for the course is between INR 5000 and admission fee is INR 15000.

Students who have passed the qualifying examination with required percentage are welcome to apply for the courses. Qualifying examinations for each course are different and some of the courses also require entrance examinations.

About the University 

The Graphic Era University was established in 1993. It is a private university which was granted the status of deemed to be university by the education ministry in the year 2008. It offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the tech field. It provides a quality education to those who do not qualify for IIT or equivalent college but want to pursue engineering degree and don’t want to spend a hefty amount of money can choose this university which is located in the serene atmosphere of Dehradun. It also has two other centres.

Graphic Era University Admission Eligibility For UG Courses 

Eligibility for admission in the university’s undergraduate programs is 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board or institution. Students are also required to appear for the qualifying examination for a certain UG course which is BTech, for this course students are required to have a valid JEE score. Students who have not taken the JEE exam need to appear for any equivalent qualifying examination. Tuition fee of the course is also variable depending upon the scores in 10+2 plus JEE Score; there are specific brackets of fee structure for particular merit. Students from a PCM background in 10+2 are eligible to apply for Graphic Era University admission.

Graphic Era University Admission Eligibility For PG Course 

For admission in the postgraduate course, students are required to have passed the qualifying examination and it is merit-based except for the course MTech. Students interested to take admission in MTech are required to appear for the GATE examination. Students with only science background are eligible for the admission in the course. Students combine performance from qualifying examinations as well as in the GATE will affect the tuition fee students will be required to pay.

The fee for the courses in Graphic Era University is different depending upon the course subject and specialization one chooses. Admission fee for the session 2026-27 is INR 10000, whereas enrollment fee is INR 5000. Btech courses’ fee depend upon many variables like how much candidates scored in the qualification Examination plus JEE mains.

• Step 1: Registration – register using your phone number and password and choose a password 
• Step 2: Fill up –  fill up the application form with the asked details regarding your personal details and educational qualification, and category details 
• Step 3: Choose your program – choose the program on which you want to take admission
• Step 4: Upload the documents – upload all the necessary documents required for the admission, all qualification certificates, personal identity certificates and caste and domicile documents if required.
• Step 5: Pay the fee – pay the admission fee and save the fee receipt for proof.
• Step 6: Review and submit – review all the information that you filled and edit them if misspelled

Graphic Era University Scholarships

It does provide scholarships to meritorious students which will be based on the score obtained in the qualifying examination, as it is already mentioned in the university’s website depending upon the specific course one chooses. The academic scholarship provided in fee structure is for the duration of the whole course. Students are advised to go to the official website and click on the fee structure. They will be given the data about the university. The candidate has to score a minimum 7 SGPA in order to be eligible for the scholarship during each semester.

For the student who fails to score 7 or above SGPA in any of the semesters, the student will not be able to apply for the scholarship for that particular semester. The same rule applies for the backlog; if students score a backlog in any of the semester and still score above 7 SGPA, scholarships will be discontinued.
