Dwarka doss goverdhan doss vaishnav college was established in 1964. It is a linguistic minority institution, which has been re-accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. DG Vaishnav College is an autonomous college with potential for excellence. Situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, it is affiliated with the University of Madras. Students can register for programmes like BA, B.COM, B.SC, BCA, BBA, along with various specializations, under aided and unaided categories. All undergraduate programs at DG Vaishnav College will be available for a duration of 3 years and 6 semesters. Only those students who have completed their 10+2 examination from any recognized in any discipline/stream are eligible for admission. Students opting for the B.Com Honors of 4 years have to score a minimum 75% mark in the qualifying examination. Admission will be merit-based for all programs.

Students are invited to apply for programs like the master of Arts in Economics, master of Commerce (general), master of Social Work, master of Computer Application, and master of Science in Mathematics and Chemistry. The university offers a master’s degree program for a duration of two years and four semesters.
