Central University of Jharkhand Admission 2026-27: The Central University of Jharkhand registration portal will start soon for the 2026-27 academic session. Interested candidates can apply online through their university’s official portal. Central University of Jharkhand Admission is based on the CUET (Common University Entrance Test) or JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) scores. CUJ offers UG, PG, and Ph.D courses across several disciplines, including engineering, management, commerce, humanities, science, and more. Applicants can apply through the university’s official website by paying a registration fee of INR 800 (INR 400 for SC/ST) candidates. The admission process of CUJ is done offline after completion of the online registration.

About University 

Central University of Jharkhand (CUJ) is a state government university located in Jharkhand. It was established on 1st March 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009. The university is spread across 30 acres of eco-friendly campus at Ranchi. CUJ offers 20 Integrated Undergraduate (UG) & Postgraduate (PG) programs under the National Education Policy, 27 Postgraduate (PG) and 22 Doctoral (Ph.D) courses. The university has an approval of UGC (University Grants Commission) and it is also accredited by the NAAC with an “A” grade.

Central University of Jharkhand Admission are now open and now accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic session. CUJ offers UG courses like B.A in Korea, English, Hindi, Mass Communication, Economics, B.Com, B.Sc in Mathematics, Life Science, Chemistry, B.Tech and many more. The selection process for UG programmes is based on entrance exam scores. For the B.Tech programme the university has accepted JEE scores. 

To be eligible for undergraduate programmes candidates need to pass their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55% marks from a recognized university. Obtaining a minimum score in a relevant subject is also preferred by the university. UG courses fee started between INR 12,000 to INR 18,000 per year. Must check the prospects of the university for UG courses eligibility. 

Central University of Jharkhand PG Admission 2026-27  

Central University of Jharkhand offers several courses at PG level. The university now started offering admission in PG level,candidates can apply through the official website.The university offers PG courses like M.Tech in Water Resources Engineering,Transportation Engineering, M.Sc in  Life Science, Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, M.Com, MBA, M.A in Hindi, English and many more. 

Students need to complete their graduation from a UGC approved university, and also need to secure at least 50% to 55% aggregate marks in a relevant discipline. The selection process for the master’s degree programme is based on securing marks in CUET- PG (Common University Entrance Test). For the M.Tech programs candidates need to have passed the graduation in Computer Science and Engineering/ Information Technology or any relevant discipline with a minimum of 50% to 60% marks. 

Central University of Jharkhand Admission Procedure 2026 

Central University of Jharkhand admissions are now open and are now accepting applications for the 2026-27 academic year. Interested candidates should check out the official page of CUJ and fill the application form by paying the non refundable registration fee. Candidates do not get direct Central University of Jharkhand admission, they must appear in the national level entrance exam (CUET) & (JEE). The university has an offline admission process, which means firstly candidates need to fill the online application fee and then go to the campus for further admission process. 

Here’s the steps of the application process

• Step 1: Visit Website: Go to the official admission portal of Central University of Jharkhand (https://cuj.ac.in/admission2023.php) 
• Step 2: Choose your preferred programme or specialization
• Step 3: Registration: Register at the portal with required details like name, DOB, mail ID, phone number and create your account & password 
• Step 4: Log In: Sign in with your newly created user name and password 
• Step 5: Application Form: Complete the application form by filling all information including qualification details, personal details. 
• Step 6: Documents Required: Submit the documents in JPG/JPEG format including marks sheet, scanned copy of signature and photographs
• Step 7: Review: Before submitting the application form, carefully check all details and documents 
• Step 8: Fee Payment: Pay the application fee of INR 800 via UPI, Debit/Credit Card or NetBanking 
• Step 9: Confirmation: The university will send you a confirmation or acknowledgement letter after verifying your details.
• Step 10: Admission Process: Once the online registration has been completed, you have to reach out to the university for the offline admission process.
