Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, a public university serving from the last five decades. It is situated in the lap of West Bengal, India. BCKV Admission UG 2025
BCKV admission will start soon for the undergraduate program for the academic session 2026. The new session of 2026 is going to start from very recent days. BCKV has made all its preparations for admission in the next and upcoming session. Those candidates who want to sow their seed don’t need to wait for favourable conditions. What you just need is Intermediate qualification with minimum 65% marks from Science stream. Eligibility Criteria for BCKV University Admission
BCKV University curriculum is designed to cater agricultural education and research needs of West Bengal. You will be eligible for BCKV admission only if you have a permanent domicile of West Bengal, that must be certified and approved by the related authorities. The eligibility criteria are explained below, have a snapshot of those.
- Age– Candidates age should not be less than 16 years as on 31 Aug, 2025. This clause will not go, if nominees are of ICAR.
- Domicile- It is mandatory for candidates to be permanent residents of West Bengal , For ICAR’s nominee, this will not work.
- EWS- As per government rule, This certificate should be issued by AMD/DM/SDO, Kolkata. You need to bring the original copy for physical verification at the time of admission.
- PWD- There is a relaxation for persons with disabilities, if at any stage if you fail to meet prescribed disability criteria, then your admission will be cancelled.
- Sports Quota- Those candidates who have proficiency in sports can claim this quota. But, this will be only applicable for B.Sc. (honors) courses.
- Physical Fitness- This field study requires hard work, and sometimes you just need to be on the ground to experience the realms of seeds. So, you have to undergo a medical examination at the time of admission.
- Reserve Category- Candidates belonging to reserve category like SC/ST/OBC can take the privilege by getting some relaxations in their percentage and fee as per WB government rule.
- Academics-Students must hold a 10+2 qualification from CBSE, ICSE-like boards. Minimum marks percentage is 65%; reserved relaxation applies here.
BCKV Admission Fee Structure
If we talk about the fee structure at Bidhan Chandra Krishi Viswavidyalaya, these are subject to change. It differs from one program to another. The overall tuition charge for different programs lies between a range of Rs. 12, 240 to Rs. 1.17 Lakhs. For undergraduate courses, it is Rs. 76,240 to Rs. 1.17 Lakh. Moving forward to post-graduation, it is approximately Rs. 25,000. You are advised to follow the current admission prospectus of the university.
Apart from the main tuition fee, there are several charges you need to pay from day one. These include Application fee, Examination fee and more. Online submission of application form is mandatory to getting admission in B.Sc., M.Sc. and other courses offered by BCKV University. This online application form needs to be filled with proper details including Personal Details, Address. You also have to opt for different quotas if you meet the eligibility. Step 2 Go to the Admission section and Opt for Students.
Step 3 Click on UG Admission, and move forward to sign up. If you are unable to login, use your registered Email ID, User ID and password to login, that ID will be received by your email.
Step 4. Thoroughly review you form, there will be mandatory slot marked as (*), You have not to leave that vacant.
Step 5. You will now move to the next step, which is uploading documents. But you have to make sure that you read all the instructions provided for uploading images and documents. Like face must be 80% visible.

BCKV Admission Through CUET
As per the guidance of ICAR-UG, admission to only B.Sc. program is allowed through CUET in BCKV. The rest of the process is totally based on merit or entrance exams conducted by the University.
