Aligarh Muslim University Admission 2026: The Aligarh Muslim University admission registration portal will start soon for the 2026 academic year. Candidates must fill out the online application form through the university portal. Aligarh Muslim University offers 200+ courses across UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate, PhD levels. The university candidates are based on their performance on the entrance exam like CUET, GATE, etc, also the university also conducts its own entrance test for various programmes. Students can’t take direct admission in most of the courses; they must have to clear the “Admission Test” or the “Department Test” to get admission at AMU. The application processing of AMU is INR 750 to INR 1,050, depending on the programme.

Aligarh Muslim University offers a wide range of programmes at the undergraduate (UG) level. Admissions have not started yet for the academic session 2026. Candidates are required to visit the official admission portal of AMU and fill the application form.  AMU provides B.Sc  in Agriculture, Community Science,Botany, B.A in Hindi, Sanskrit, Arabic, English, B.Com, BBA, B.Tech, B.Ed and many more. AMU offers undergraduate (UG) courses in the duration of 4 years, which consists of 8 semesters. The selection process of UG programmes at AMU is based on the entrance test either the national entrance test (CUET,NEET,GATE) or AMU’s own entrance test (Admission Test or Department Test).

AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) provides numerous programmes like M.A Hindi, English, History, M.Sc. Candidates also take direct admission, but they need to clear the AMU’s Department Test or Admission Test. To be qualified for PG programmes at Aligarh Muslim University applicants need to hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with an aggregate of 50% to 60% marks from an approved university.
