About University
Abdul Kalam Technical University was established in 2000 by Government of Uttar Pradesh. It is a public collegiate university situated in Lucknow Uttarpradesh. This open university provides technical education which consist of Technology Architecture, training in engineering, pharmacy, applied art and crafts and ton planning, etc. In 2013 Uttar Pradesh government decided to merge Mahamaya Technical University (MTU) and Gautam Budha Technical University (GBTU) to bring UPTU back to its form.
